What I love about the article is that they seem to have picked out the most stereotypically airheady comments from the girls they interviewed (assuming they interviewed anyone and didn't make all the quote up) like the girl who says that anyone who reads manga is uncool and clearly doesn't have a boyfriend because if she did, she would spend every waking moment having sex with him and therefore have no time for any other possible activity, including reading manga. This girl either A-has never actually had a boyfriend B-has never actually read manga or C-is a figment of the writer's imagination. I bet C.

Smells like the same thing happening with videogames in the US. Both can be remedied by good parenting.
