Wow...thats all I gotta say. I guess Geneon is co-producing it. I just recently found out about Tenjo Tenge manga. I've had these three wallpapers on my computer for about a year now and was always just amazed by tha bueaty of them...they're draw so damn well. After much searching I later found out that they were characters in Tenjo Tenge a manga right up my alley.
Tha character I like tha most is easily Emi Isuzu. She has no doubt taken a spot in my top 5 hottest characters from manga or anime. Well if tha rumors are true I can't wait for this anime with a mix of women and fighting its should turn out great. My fave wallpaper and picture from Tenjou Tenge would have to be this one of Natsume Maya? *I think that's her name*
Had it over a year *well, one similar to it using that image*. Even if I'm not one for all the clevage shots that are in pretty much EVERY Tenjou Tenge picture, I will admit, the art is fantastic. *how those girls can fight so great with breast that are each the size of a watermellon, I have nooooooo idea* |

LOL ya but thats why we love anime/manga right? It makes things possible that would otherwise not be. and heres tha other two wallpapers I have one is also of your fave but with tha same background for tha picture you see in all three wallpapers of mine. I'd say that they are tha top 3 women of tha manga even though I haven't got into it completely Natsume Maya 3rd Fave Natsume Aya 2nd Fave and another great Isuzu Emi image Emi |

Truthfully I only read volume one, and couldn't stand it because of all the... big boobs and nudity, plus lots and lots of fighting. *is female* I only picked it up for the art, and for the art alone I respect it. I will however try the anime when it comes out. I suspect they'll tone down things slightly.

Yah its definatly more male oriented but hopefully tha anime will lean more towards tha fighting/action with great animation and less towards tha ecchi/nudity aspect of tha manga...just not completely

The fan service in Tenjou Tenge takes a big backseat to the story later on; once some other characters get involved, it becomes less about breasts and more about death, especially around volume 5 or 6. I'm not one for fanservice shows but the artwork and the story in Tenjou Tenge, at least the manga, is superb. I await the series with baited breath; I've been a fan of the manga since it came out years ago.

So, what exactly is this title about? By the looks of it, most of you make it sound like Noir but with more fan service and nudity. I like that drawing of whoever that is. Is this supposed to be action, drama, suspense, supernatural, or anything that might be interesting?
If the manga, at least, has a good amount of fighting in proportion to the nudity you guys say there is, I'm sure there won't be too big of a problem toning it down for a series. I really like that picture! *wishes for the ability to draw*

I'm re-reading it now *up to vol 5*. The fanservice still hasn't let up yet. ^^'
Pretty much everyone in the story goes to this fighting school, and there are these two punks who get in trouble with the school... gang that's in charge of discipline. There's another fighting group, or club, run by Maya Natsume, and she takes in the two punks to train them because she needs them to defeat the head guys in the discipline gang because of some confusing stuff having to do with her brother. Aya, Natsume's sister, is also in love with one of the punks, and has a special heredity trait called the dragon's eye or something like that, which makes her a threat to the discipline group and... well, I don't think that's a good summary. Sorry. There's just... a lot of fighting, sex... and as many boob and panty shots I think a guy can want. |

Jee, I don't know if I should take it up then. If my parents or friends saw me with something that risque, they might start questioning my morals and ethics. 
Ah well, if the action and story are good enough, I'll probably still get it. And since it's being put into anime form, they'll probably just keep it to a lot of fan service, minus the nudity (unless they make an OAV or movie ).

I seriously can't recall a page with any of the girls that wasn't a panty or boob shot. *skims through a volume* Clevage... clevage... panties... clevage... naked... damn, if this isn't enough fanservice for guys, guys scare me. But wow, really, the color art for this manga is spectacular. I need to buy an artbook if one is out. |

I just finished 7, and woah, I'll agree now. The story just got a heck of a lot better, and it's not focusing on the girls anymore. *just went "Awwwww, that's so sweet!" to a really bloody scene*
Crap, I can't seem to find an artbook. Does anyone know if one is out yet or not? |

Sorry no luck wolf. Probably aren't any in America yet, except mabey in a little shack in New York that imports stuff. BTW wheres a good place to buy tha manga? I think im gonna go ahead a purchase it so I can finally compare an anime to a manga. |
