I haven't seen as many mecha anime as you guys, so this is based entirely on what I myself have seen.
Least Advanced: Pretty much any production-model Knightmare from Code Geass. I mean, they're smaller than most other mecha I've seen, and they use wheels. Most Advanced: I'll go with the Gundams from G Gundam, just because of their piloting system (the pilot controls the Gundam with his/her own movements), and because they've got Super Robot-like attacks. |
