Oh crap, (this is what happens when you are out it) this is sad news. Man I remember Tokyopop in it's infancy. When they used to do retail. I bought many import stuff from them and had a close buying relationship with Mike. Time are changing so quickly around us. This is really crappy news. All I can say is thank you TP for all the work that you have done for us fans all these years.

I wonder what will fill in the gap, with Tokoyo pop gone, that doesn't leave many choices for manga. I always loved the varity that Tokoyo Pop provided, stupid Borders didn't help things.

No, DJ Milky didn't help things. HE ran the company into the ground. HE was aloof and had the attention span of a 5 year old. HE took properties of others and tried to use them to catapult his name. HE angered fans and creators alike. HE only has to blame only himself. Not Borders, not the fans, not the Japanese property holders, only himself. |
