Rakugo is the best show of the season as far as I'm concerned so this is great news.

Thank God.

I loved this show and it was definitely the best of the season (contender for the year as well) but I did feel slightly betrayed that the flashback was the focus of the entire season... at first anyways. If this just means more great story telling, just with a season full of the present then I'm all for it!

Yes! Loved this show and I'm happy that studio Deen gave it a 2nd season despite it's low popularity in Japan, can't wait for it to come out and see more of Konatsu and Yotaro (that 'Rakugo' style announcement at the end was great Smile )

I watched the finale a few minutes ago without having seen the news on here, and when they made the announcement post-credits I was flipping out! Like, I was hoping it would get renewed for a second season ever since I heard this season only covers about half of the manga, but I wasn't sure how likely it was to happen. So the fact that it's happening makes me very happy!! Looking forward to it whenever it airs.

OOOoooooooooooh F**K YEAH!!!

DVD/BD sales be damned, give me my beautiful josei period drama, gorgeous cinematography, and overall superb quality anime! I haven't seen the last episode yet but, now I'm 2,000x happier knowing there's more to come!!!

Woohoo this definitely emerged as my favorite of the season so I am ecstatic by this news.

Now someone just needs to announce the license for the R1 North American DVD/BR market and all will be well.
