She seem to be a big fan of he's work for years, she went to a fan signing of his a while back to get his signature. She's cosplayed several Ah! My Goddess , she is also in a video game as a VA that he's working on as a character designer. I think she's had a genuine interest in him which lead to things and well now you have this ending result. Love? Maybe not but I also think they got married because it was convenient both of them considering the alternative would be far worse, being a single parent is not well looked upon in Japan and so is a child out of wedlock. Even if they end up divorcing as least they'll have the "at least we tried" excuse card. |

I like to be open minded, but honestly, I think this is gross. She is 20 and Fujishima just turned 52.
All I can say is that this is not going to end well for both of them. |

You need to work a bit harder at it.
If she was 10 and he was 42 I would think that was gross. At 20 she is old enough to make her own decisions. It should not matter if the man is 22 or 62. I should admit though that I am a bit biased in my opinion, since I am considerably older than he is.
Do you actually know either of those people? In any case, as I said in the other thread I wish them well. |

Only the law of the land sets boundries for love, mostly on well established moral, ethical and health grounds. Love in itself knows no boundries.
It's almost as if the premise of Ah My Goddess has become reality for him. Now If only Keichi was so fortunate.

Is it just me or does anyone else got a bad feeling about this? I hope it works out or it might not end well. Although there are May-December romances and weddings that do work out,there are those that don't. Let's just hope this one is among those that does work.

Last year, Mick Jagger welcomed a great-granddaughter (meaning he became a great-grandfather).
Mick Jagger just announced he's expecting his 8th child. Dunno how the honorifics dynamic gonna work between the great-granddaughter and her great-grandfather's new baby who'd be younger than her.
