This seems very awkward to me, as it's grouped by Pokedex number, and families are only grouped together if their number is together (case in point, there are 4 sections for the Eevee family: Generation 1, Generation 2, Generation 4, and Generation 6).

I'm assuming that it's meant to say that the Mega Evolutions specifically are grouped with their family, so maybe this would be a better wording:

or

Pokemon are grouped in order of PokeDex number. The picture also includes Mega Evolutions, which are placed alongside their families.
