The first anime volume is only 46 minutes, which hints at a typical 2 episode release, which falls in line with a 12 episode anime. I woulda thought this would be 2 cour, but I guess it might just become another Deadman Wonderland.

Not really,the first volume costs less than usual Pony Canyon volume release which indicates that other volumes will have more episodes than Vol1.
