spoiler[Jojo training for his big fight. At least we learned some more stuff about the ripples. Lisa sure put him through some hoops. Well, it's supposed to be hard. Caesar was doing much better than Jojo. There still a lot to learn.] |

Well that was certainly training from hell if I've ever seen it. Forgot how cold blooded Lisa Lisa was when it comes to that. I do like that it got condensed down into one episode again so it's entertaining rather than boring.

This Lisa Lisa girl sure seems pretty damn interesting even with her introduction in the episode by the sea. Her VA also did a good job imo along with that training scene.
spoiler[I wonder how the next training episode will progress with those two assistants.] Should be fun. |

spoiler[Super Aja is one popular gem. The final test for Jojo turned into more than he expected. Jojo vs ACDC! That guy is really weird and scary. It seemed like ACDC was reading his mind of something.. Well, at least he got one antidote, but picked up quite a big leech.] |

I don't think spoiler[ACDC was reading JoJo's mind, it's just that his perception was just as good as his lol.] Anyway, another great episode. This is one of the shows that I almost always prioritize first in my watch order. I take it that a lot of stuff was cut for the anime, considering how little we knew about spoiler[the relationship JoJo and Caesar had with their trainers, making the sudden death of Loggins feel... sudden
 .]

I'm not surprised that those blacked-out gore shots have all the horrible details on DVD, but what impresses me is the subtle stuff they're doing to improve facial expressions and keep the drawings a little more on-model. |

Oh God that fight was glorious. Ahh, spoiler[my arm?!] Brilliant. Anyways, great episode as usual and spoiler[ACDC bites the dust. That's one down, two to go. I'm glad to see Jojo doing what he does best at and also for Caesar for acing his training sessions.] |

Episode 17
I usually record this show when it airs late at night, then watch and delete it whenever I have time, but I may have to hang onto this ep for a while. A pretty much perfect mix of awesome fighting, gore and comedy. Loved how they kept spoiler[correctly guessing what the other was about to say.] But spoiler[is ACDC really gone??? Jojo seems to have a rather large pulsating brain on his back...never a good sign.] We'll just have to tune in again next week! |

spoiler[ACDC leech on Jojo's back was just disturbing. Looks like it was transferable. Poor Suzie Q became an ACDC puppet. So the stone was sent to St. Moritz. Interesting how the Germans found it before our heroes.] |

Fun episode this week. Potential love interest for Jojo, the Germans come back in to play and spoiler[Stroheim is back as the nazi equivalent of the Terminator].
Gotta love how over the top the show is with this stuff. |

Wow, spoiler[AC/DC] just don't know when to freaking quit. Anyways, good episode again and glad to see another supporting character getting some highlight in this arc. Tbh, I thought the moment between Suzie Q and Jojo were cute.
Oh and that ending was nice, glad to see a familiar face back. |

spoiler[Guess some people refuse to die no matter what. Cars vs Stroheim! That was fun. The fight to keep the red stone was pretty intense. Caesar and Jojo make a good team ^^] |
