Episode 8

I really liked the intro.
spoiler[It's really cool when they show us manga.
That sure was an interesting story.
Looks like there are some really talented guys out there as well.
Classroom of Truth was really good.
Tooru had a really interesting plan of advertising his work.
It was pretty unique too, but also kinda unfair toward others.
So far I don't like this guy's methods, but his manga is great.
Tooru is a total sleaze and a cheater. He's]
gonna be serious trouble.

this new antagonist is a piece. using the friends to do the work so he can be a pro? can't see the young editor letting himself be wrapped up in something that would get him fired for hiding it from the upper staff.

LOL, I don't get the whole deal with this new antagonist...

I mean, he's kinda dumb, that whole thing he's doing on the net is just really stupid and will obviously bite him in the ass later on.

I mean, it's sort of the point I guess but why do they present him like he's some smart evil genius when his plan is obviously just really stupid and he'll easily be found out...

I like the new antagonist tbh. He brings for the drama in a different way beyond the typical romance we've seen so far in Bakuman. From the looks for things, it could be one hell of a ride we'll be seeing soon.

Episode 10

spoiler[Nanamine's editor wasn't too happy about his serialization.
It was kinda sad Shiratori's manga got cancelled.
Hattori was smart enough to suspect something was off about Kosugi.
When Mashiro and Takagi told him the truth about Nanamine's wayhis reaction was expected.
That guy was walking all over their principles and ideals. He went too far.
Hiramaru was totally down after Aoki got serialized.. but was resurrected as her assistant.]

"PCP will crush him" doesn't have the same meaning in the west.

but the helpers are now being made out to be professionals who just happen to want to do someone else's work for them.

Episode 11

spoiler[Nakai working for Nanamine.
That's exactly why he wanted Nakai, just to make sure he beats Aoki.
Even Nakai stumbled upon Nanamine's secret...
I was right, Nanamine's ship was sinking steadily.
He does have the talent, but his method was wrong.
Nanamine has totally and completely lost it.]

I found Nanamine's attitude and what he says a bit ironic this episode telling his assistant to not "act high and mighty". I lol'd @ that. In other news, it was amusing watching Nakai this episode especially when he saw that pinky promise.

I was surprised, since I swore we had seen the last of him.

Episode 12

spoiler[Same story in the same issue.
Ashirogi vs Nanamine!
Nakai lost Nanamine even those few people he had left ^^"
He suffered total defeat.
Well, looks like he got what he deserved!
Seems like Kosugi finally got through to him.
If Nanamine continues writing his own manga he might still have a chance.
So someone started doing real crimes by copying Ashirogi's manga. That's bad.]

With the speed the anime is going through with the story, I wouldn't be surprised if they reached the end of the manga here, after this arc, there are very few plot points to cover.

I'm happy with how they've donde the spoiler[End of Crow] arc, it's my favorite though it's most obviously ending next week what with the title and everything. I still feel they're going through the material a tad too fast, in that aspect I feel this season is weaker than previous ones

they are just follow the manga. I don't think they skip manga story.
Hiramaru is the best character. lol
They are not close to the end of the manga yet. I would say they need around 30 eps. They still need to work on new manga for TV series. There will be another spoiler[Toru Nanamine Arc]

I already read the manga, that's why I said it. Overall, once this arc is over (next episode), the only things left to cover will be spoiler[Nanamine's return, Hiramaru's romance with Aoki, the creation of Reversi and Zombie Gun, the seiyuu/Miho controverse and the Reversi anime,] Fin. With around 10 episodes left for this show and the speed they're going through stuff (they didn't dedicate half an episode to Super Lover's Fest!) it's entirely plausible it'll end with this. Mostly because if it didn't, there would not be enough material to do a 4th season spoiler[(not that it matters because the seiyuu/Miho thing and the ending was crap)]

It could be that the director was told to end the series this season since a fourth one was not going to be made (the Manga is over, so no need to keep on boosting sales), which would explain the overly fast pacing.

I definitely think the show is suffering from the pacing.

One of my biggest qualms with the anime is that it always seems to get openings and endings more suited to a shojo romance rather than the shonen-unorthodox-battle it is.

Loved this episode. Probably because Niizuma is my favorite character (see avatar) and I think Okamoto does a genius job voicing him. Plus he was extra funny and adorable this week
