I have been kicking these notes around on my desktop for some time now, and wondered if anyone had any to add. I had some more written down somewhere but I can't find them.

Strike Witches: Japanese girls oshiri can be used as flight control surfaces. Oreimo: Dedication to H-games results in mastership of school, sports, professional modeling and complete inability to relate to a sibling with the patience of a saint. Hanasaku Iroha: Avoid taking a bath with your grandma and friends at the same time. NGE: The only thing better for global defense than a dysfunctional widower is his alienated offspring and tsundere peer also with daddy issues. Also Colonel is the highest rank in Japan. Please Teacher: If you want to bone your teacher being comatose is a good start. No 6: If you want good parenting find a dog. Ouran: Boys are sexier than girls by far, and even more so are cross-dressing single-parent dads because they can make a living at it. |

Gurren Lagaan: If you can yell louder than your opponent, you will win. Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere: How not to make a sci-fi fantasy story. Last Exile: "Disith bullets will avoid the Rancorous's body" will keep me safe in combat. Rin: Everything in the world is all about sex (actually kind of true  ).
Koihime Musou: The Maid-cafe was invented in ancient China. Dragon Ball Z: The human body is more dense and durable than granite, concrete, and steel. Edit: Well, okay, that last one can apply to many shows

Stiens;Gate: Lab coat moe is a very real and very awesome thing. Fate/Stay Night: spoiler[King arthur] was a girl. Sengoku Basara: Japanese history was a lot more interesting and flashy then I had thought. Red Line: I can want a blu-ray so much that it hurts

Oh, oh, I've got one.
I've learnt from many Anime that when someone is feeling down, just say "You are you" and they will instantly feel better. Works almost every time, so much so I think it is some sort of spell native to the Japanese archipelago. |

Probably not specific to a certain show, but comes to mind first.
Pokemon: Safer to give children dangerous creatures that can cause more damage to society than a gun. Sailor Moon: Just change your outfit and people are oblivious to who you are. DBZ: Ditching a good plan to win against foes who want to blow up the world just to "see how powerful they are" to better yourself. Princess Tutu: Plot twists can come in the oddest of ways. Grenadier: Cleavage is just deep pockets for extra stuff. |

Or Superman. Use hair gel, take off your glasses, put on lycra/spandex/whatever and stand with a better posture and voila, instant and foolproof disguise.

Code Geass: The hammier strategist is the smarter strategist. To Aru Majutsu No Index: Loli nuns are everywhere. And if you're the male MC, you WILL walk in on them naked. Ga-Rei: Zero: All mundane items can make highly effective weapons. That includes wheelchairs. And a general rule that all series seem to follow: A slap to the face is ALWAYS the best way to snap someone out of their funk. |
