So if Tenjho Tenge isn't licensed by:
Vertical
Dark Horse
Del Rey/Kodansha USA (It's Shueisha, not Kodansha)
It must be either:
Tokyopop
Yen Press
VIz (God, I hope not)
Seven Seas (Seems unlikely, since they have lots of other stuff going on at the moment and have already made many other announcements)
Or some other company I can't think of at the moment.

Tenjou Tenge is a guilty pleasure of mine: sex, nudity, and uber violence. I would gladly buy the manga if it weren't edited.

Probably Yen Press. If so I might check it out, considering Yen Press hasn't let me down yet.

Hopefully who ever rescued TT (I was thinking about I wonder if someone is ever going to rescue it this morning) has it uncensored. If I had to guess who would have it I would guess TokyoPop.

I wonder if VIZ would pick it up, and just release the last 4 volumes in a similar format to CMX's later volumes [which may of been unedited... these were shrinkwrapped and had a different age rating]. Though if DH was looking into, maybe others were considering republishing it in it's entirety too.

I'm also guessing TokyoPop on this one.
But here's hoping Swan will get saved by someone too...

When the rating was changed and CMX started to shrinkwrap them they were still edited, just less so than before. CMX never released any volume of TenTen completely uncensored.

Seeing as Tenjho Tenge is released by Shueisha in Japan...VIZ is the likely publisher. It's not impossible for others, but the contracts between VIZ and Shogakukan/Shueisha guarantee that they get first dibs, unless it's something like in the case of Cirque du Freak.
Problem is VIZ is one of the, if not the, last remaining publishers still willing to censor. They had better take CMX's choices and fate into consideration, lest Tenjho Tenge perform the same as with CMX.
That is, assuming Yen Press or TP don't have it. TP's recent quality and translations aren't great, but they won't edit. YP has good production values and definitely won't censor. For the sake of those who do read the series, I hope either YP has it, or VIZ is willing to give it the proper treatment.

It's been awhile since TP had a Shuiesha title [Kodocha+Marmalade Boy] and that was before VIZ/Shogakukan taking them on as a partner.
If it's not Vertical or DH, I'm guessing VIZ then. I'd guess at the very least they'd translate the remaining volumes with minimal editing. Best case scenario? A VIZBIG style reissue with editing removed. Though the way the market is now, the more financially sensible thing to do would probably be getting the remaining volumes out first [ala Del Rey's SDKyo and RaveMaster omnibi], and deciding what to do with the rest of the series afterwards.

I love Ed Chavez. He also said that Sailor Moon was re-licensed, so if he was right about this, then that means that he was right about Sailor Moon as well.

Yen Press please.
Tokyopop would wreck the translation and Viz would censor despite it being 18+ if their treatment of Bokurano shows anything.

Please recall Viz Media kept the Black Lagoon manga uncensored and I seen Tokyopop translation being better then long time ago and it's unlikely that Tokyopop would pick this up. So Viz may pick up the manga, even if Viz Media pick up the North American right for Tenjo Tenge, I think they'll release it uncut.

Listening to DH wax poetic on how well TT could do makes me a little more optimisitc of it's chances of a new edition of the entire series. Interesting commentary, so be sure to check it out.

Was I the only that asked themselves "What's a Gombos?" before I clicked on the link?
