Doing returns are stressfull, I wanted to somehow not have to return this DVD but... It freezes and I can't get it to stop freezing.

The disc had came loose in it's case and danced around for it's trip from Iowa to my home causing scratches all over the thing.

Sad

Are the returns/exchanges easy or are they really picky about situations like these? The item came from the bargain bin but even from there I'd imagine the thing would have to play...

I did send one of those Return request things on the webpage, not even sure if I filled it out correctly... Just nervous. Never have returned anything from an online dealer before.

If I were you I wouldn't stress at all over having to return a defective item, especially to RightStuf. A disc popping off its... hub (?-- what's the word for the thing the disc sits on?) during transit isn't unheard of. I'm not quite sure how to phrase this but at TRSI I always feel like there are real people there listening to my questions/concerns and packaging my orders. They're not a faceless behemoth. I'm sure everything will be fine.

I agree. I've only had to return an item to RightStuf once, and it was pretty much painless. I wouldn't worry too much. Just make sure you follow the procedure outlined on their website. I've made several email enguiries to them about various things and they've always been quick to reply, usually within 24 hours, sometimes a little longer.

They are pretty good about exchanges. You could call them which would probably get things done faster. Anyways, they usually don't send replacements until they receive the defective item. I had to send a defective item back for the first time a few weeks ago (A manga has some messed up pages) and they sent it promptly after they received the defective copy. The only thing about that was that when they send the replacement it won't show up on their website to track it, you still get an e-mail about that.

Thank you, Thank you.

These replies have put my worries at ease.

I'll probably be calling them this afternoon to get the process going a little faster.

Smile
