Do you remember if you participated in the thread, or by some small chance of someone else who did? I've found that it can help to combine a keyword query with an author query. You just have to remember a word used in a post by a person.
I usually use it to find my own posts. For instance, if I want to find a review I made of a show in the gigantic "What are you Watching" thread I will put the show's name into the subject field and my name in the Author field and choose "Diplay Results as Posts" to find it. Or to find my introduction post in the introductions thread I use my cat's name as a keyword. |

Edit: skimmed through NGE's link and that's a pretty epic write up. Will have to take some time out to give it a proper read later. But man, that's some pretty hardcore analysis there. And passion. |

No problem at all, happy to be of help. As for the URL itself, I searched the forums for "FLCL adult swim", hit the "Search for all terms" option, then found the link after opening a few threads that looked promising. Just simple dumb luck, really. |

Thank you for the reply. Since Gina Szanboti wrote about the male clothes with the slashed sleeves and you responded to it and wrote, 'They were starched. Remember, these were ceremonial court clothes, not practical wear. You didn't need to be able to move quickly or smoothly in them, you just had to look elegant,' and after that you said, 'The same applied to female court dress of the period,' I'm sorry to say this, but 'these were ceremonial court clothes' seems to refer to the male clothes with the slashed sleeves. By the way, what do you think about when the sumptuary law in question was enacted? |

I’ve seen quite a few different types of Megazone 23 releases, and I wanted to ask some advice. Is this the right place to do that? If I want every episode of that OVA, which DVD series do I buy? Or was the last bit never officially released in North America?

That's where I was a little confused. After Part III, isn't there a final part? Though I added up Wikipedia's running times, and they equal the 255 min or so that the encyclopedia suggests.

Nope. Part III was the last Megazone 23 OVA made. The box set that DerekTheRed linked to contains all the Megazone 23 OVAs that exist. |

I see why you're confused. Megazone 23 Part III actually has 2 parts, so that's why wikipedia says it's a 4 part series.

Oh, thank you very much! So if I buy that, or a Part III disc for that matter, I can be sure that I'm getting everything?
