I'm curious about this "Remastered video" stuff. If this is a buffed up version (better video/audio) of the Madman release I may just double dip to get this so I can have a cleaner version that's also R1 so I can play it through my BD Player.

I am drooling over the 5 Centimeters Per Second re-release. I've been trying to get a hold of this title for a year now yet it has been crazy expensive at places that do have it for sale. I refuse to watch it online/streaming as I much rather see it on my TV (same as with Summer Wars).

Well I know what I'm buying this October. I've been waiting quite some time for a release of 5cm Per Second and it's finally here! The extras seem really nice so I'm looking forward to checking them out. And as The King of Harts already said I'm interested to see what the remastered version is going to look like. Also it's just 25 dollars. So in all aspects of this release I approve.

I kind of hold out hopes that we might get an artbox for Hayate, but I know I'm just deluding myself. Definately gonna pickup Gundam 00, and I'm just waiting for the immenent delays for these titles.

Im pretty excited over the 5 cm per second dvd release, because I just went on ebay and someone sold 2 copies of the DVD for $99.99 each insane for that price.
$24.95 is a pretty good price compared to $99.99 lol |

my guess it will be available at all retail stores just with Bandai and Crunchyrolls name on it. Thats just my guess thou I doubt it would be an online only thing.
Pretty excited im leaving tomorrow morning to get to SF for the J pop summit and going to see this movie big screen style. |

I am definately interested in 5 CM Per Second. I saw it at the local anime club (at UT), and thought it was great.
When I get some extra $ I will be picking it up. |

Im actually being a bit sneaky about getting the DVD, I hitched a ride with my friends and currently in San Francisco for the J pop Summit to check out the shows, events, food but also the 5 cm per sec anime night where for 10 bucks I get to watch the movie in a theater and get a copy of the DVD so save myself like 14.95 which will probably just go to food lol.
