Right coast, wrong part of it. Oh well, I know a bunch of people who live in that area, maybe one of them will go and I can get a camrip of the event.

This is wonderful news that the US is getting a Miku concert. I wish I could attend, I was just hoping for something like this to happen too! Hopefully she'll have an East Coast appearance soon.

Aw, shoot.
Why not Los Angeles?! Well, now I have a better excuse to visit my friends at UC Berkely.

I am so excited about this event up in S.F.!
I am going to go the the screening of 5 CENTIMETERS PER SECOND!!!! It is supposed to be re-mastered and I hear that we get a bunch of cool stuff like membership to Crunchyroll, Pocky and a DVD copy of the re-mastered film!
Watching this amazing film on the big screen is what i am totally looking forward to! Hope to see you all there!

Looking forward to it. Also going to the 5 Centimeters showing on Tuesday.
By the way, is anyone else unable to order their ticket online? I keep getting an error message every time I try to confirm the purchase, but I was able to get my 5 Centimeters ticket just fine.

Friend got back from it. You should have put the word concert in quotation marks. They just played the blu ray of Miku's 39's Giving Day concert in a theatre...

So does anyone know if that theatre was full, or meh? Though I'd like to think this concept would be as popular outside of Japan, I doubt it will be as I believe the West isn't as exceptable of our "idols" to be a CG hologram just yet. It's like the aversion to anything animated that isn't targeted at 0 to 24-year-olds. However, since I was introduced to "her" a few weeks ago by NHK World, I have bought a few mp3s from Amazon that I'm quite pleased with, though of all the Vocaloids, Miku is my favourite voice.

The Gorillaz seem pretty popular.
Of course, The Gorillaz, Miku is not.
