The very first Press Your Luck at a con was at Anime Central 2003, my version. I've done the game at roughly twenty conventions over the last seven years now (including Kamikazecon, Ohayocon and San Japan this year), and will be doing the game again this year at Tsubasacon and Oni-con, and next year at San Japan, Zenkaikon and probably many more. Smile

They did this at Sakura Con this year too. I went, just to see how it all worked (and if there was a water cooler in the room), and got picked to play 2 seconds after going through the door. I lost to a Kiki cosplayer- but it was great fun!

If you ever get a chance, go to a con with Greggo hosting it. It's just like the real show... there's even a reason to keep on pressing even once you have the lead, in order to win more prizes. I saw it at Ohayocon and it was brilliant.

If there was a 'fun factor rating' to be placed on Anime Press Your Luck, I would give it "Rated 'E' for EPIC". Wink

Game show systems at Otakon always impresses me. The last time they had millionaire like game show that is DS and I think iPhone supported.

Laughing

I loved this tv show in thew 80's . I would hope that you may want to bring it to the southeast at Anime weekend Atlanta (AWA). I would enjoy playing press your luck.

I'll be hosting game shows at AWA, but Press Your Luck won't be one of them. There's a chance we might play the game during one of the game show events during AMV Iron Editor, though.

I see in at least one video it has the infamous "Michael Larson" pattern.
