Just finished it and it was really good. Im just a little lost about one thing so help me out here hehe spoiler[who exactly framed the Hellsing organization? Was it that vampire guy alucard fights in the end (sorry forgot his name) and what exactly were they framed for?? Also was anyone else ticked off that Alucard didn't have a final battle with that priest dude?]

spoiler[They were framed by one of the members of the round table. When they attacked the tower in the end the public believed the queen was there and that the hellsing forces were trying to kill her.]

Yes, I'm ticked that Alucard didn't fight Anderson.
And the guy you're talking about is Incognito, who by the way, never existed in the manga. A good series that ended too soon thanks to some crappy writers at Gonzo. |

Most of Gonzo's writers are crappy. There's a ton of other work that they done could have ended up being good but instead turn up crappy due to poor writing Real Bout High School, Gate Keepers, Full Metal Panic, Hellsing etc. That's what I hate about Gonzo they choose Style over substance.

I like Gate Keepers, but that's just me  .
Did they write Last EXILE too, or did they just animate it? |

Yes it was. Actually I find Last Exile to be Gonzo's few good works it had good pacing and good writing the show pretty much stayed consistant. |

From what I understand, Hirano was not pleased with how GONZO handled his story, so much so that he would not let them make a second season.

These are all good reasons to stick with the manga; it's much better on many levels, including humor that really wasn't there in the anime. (Not to mention, it's much cheaper...)

Have to admit, I was perplexed by how they handled Anderson. I have yet to convert to mangadom, but perhaps I should give them a try. Not to give too much away, but I thought the computer images of Anderson's knives in flight looked kinda corny.
