Mangettes was announced as CLAMP's newest project a year or two ago, and it was given a projected release date of August 15th, 2010 (here's ANN's article on it, if you want to look: animenewsnetwork.com/news/2009-03-26/clamp-mangettes/gate-7-cover-posted-on-amazon-japan).
Yet, since that article I haven't heard anything about the project, either here or on other sites. It certainly hasn't been released yet either. So my question is, does anyone know what's going on? I can understand the release date being pushed back, but the fact that not a single bit of info about the series has come to my attention since hearing about it 1.5 years ago is pretty strange. So, does anyone have any information, or has the series just disappeared into a black hole? |

Going by Clamp news I follow, it was generally accepted that this mention at Sakuracon this year was about Gate 7.

It was delayed because of CLAMP dragging xxxHolic like crazy.
But apparently CLAMP took a research trip recently, and xxxHolic was moved to a monthly magazine. So they are definitely getting ready for Gate 7, even if it was delayed two years thus far. |
