Well, that didn't take long. Can't turn your back on Nina for a minute.

There's no way she had enough time to even watch the opening credits to an episode in the time between Kevin closing his door and him running in to warn her. I think she was just looking for an excuse to drink.

Is Kevin encouraging Nina to engage in illegal activity and watch a fansub? Scandalous!

Things I didn't expect to see #3256: A Bartender reference.
Bartender was an excellent series which will never get licensed, in which the basic premise is "The right drink at the right time is good for what ails you".
It had a very theatrical feel to it, like it had been written as a series of stage plays, but that was one of the things I loved about it.

Last panel is definitely amusing. Good comic.

If there was ever a series that I would pre-order... xD! ... On any account, I loved this week's ANN... Really got to me on a personal level as I hit my 21st right when this was in my rotation. I remember asking the barkeep for "The Special" ... and didn't remember a thing after that. xD! Nina... I feel your pain!
Bartender needs to be licensed.

Well, I do love Bartender.
As far as the actual comic goes, it felt really awkward to have the guy explain, in stuff detail, what the impending problem was going to be.

Here stands the first and last comic strip to ever reference Bartender. Clap clap clap, Robin. Clap clap clap.
Christ, Nina looks freaky when she's sh*tfaced...

Pro-tip: The alcoholic beverages featured in this show are best consumed by agitated salarymen. They may cause nausea and irritation with casual drinkers.

In the last panel, was anyone else reminded of the scene from Family Guy when Brian found out he slept with Quagmire's transgendered dad?

Would be exceptionally hilarious if a door to door sales person answered that door. More so if they were selling books about health hazards of alcohol.
I have read Bartender and while I did enjoy the series, Kevin hit the nail on the head with this one. It's a quiet series, but a great series as well.
So moral of the story; off beat series seldom get licensed, alcohol can make you sick and fictional characters can occasionally make correct assumptions about what is and isn't licensed now and days.
Fine comic Robin this week, the humor was top notch. Thanks for the hard work.

Interesting, upon first reading the comic, I assumed Bartender was a made up series, but it seems I was wrong. Goes to show that they can make an anime series (and apparantly a decent one) out of just about anything.
