Man, that sucks how Guy has no really good figure when his mechs, and even the unused successor GaoGaiGo, got perfectly fine , and better, releases... Maybe Bandai should make something similar to their Saint Seiya Myth Cloth series for characters like Guy Shishioh.

At least the Guy action figure was good for one thing...

I think the cheap look is kind of charming in a nostalgic kind of way

Heh, as soon as I saw this in the sidebar, my first thought was Plamoo's videos. His youtube account is closed now, but all his videos are still available on his website.

Wait a minute...The math doesn't add up. The Microman line claims to have been around since 1974, and the packaging celebrates its 15th anniversary. That means this figure was made in 1989.
However, the article says that GaoGaiGear has been around for 15 years, meaning it aired in 1995. Either the package is lying somehow, this show has been around longer than we think, or the figure preceded the show by six years. |

The "15th" is specifically in reference to the Brave series, which began in 1990. This figure's from '05.

If it is not the case already, the author of these figurine animations would serve a stop-motion animation studio quite well.
