It's as simple as that, leave a post explaining why or why you'd want see "One Piece" on T.V. again. Personally I would love it, I love "One Piece" and the more exposure the more fans.

It is expected that an OP will provide his/her own opinion to start off when initiating such threads. I will give you a little while to correct the opening post to include that; otherwise, this thread will be locked.

I have niether the time, nor the money, nor the patience to devote myself to a series that seemingly has no end. What is it, like 450 episodes or something? I've heard One Piece is a good show, but that is just overkill.

Possibly, but in all likelihood, no. It's too long, and seemingly has no end coming. I make it a general policy of mine to not begin watching shows which have a decent chance of outliving me.

No, but that is more of on tv deal. I'm not really a fan of Funimation's dub. Would watch it all again subbed, but not for a few years as I like to wait to re-watch a show when it isn't so fresh on my mind.
As far as never ending, the creator actually does have the ending already in mind, it just has taken much longer than he figured to get there. I think he said we are nearly half way through.

I don't understand the criticism of the funimation dub I think its very well cast. I even like the re-sings of all the songs better than the Japanese versions.
Its more than anyone could hope for in a dub of the series.

Rarely fond of dubbing Japanese music, and I wasn't of fan of most of the Funimation cast. Only voice I actually found to be an improvement was Luffy's. A few were acceptable, but the rest were either badly off in general (Zoro), over-acted (Nami & Usopp), or badly acted (Sanji). It probably got better over time, but my initial viewing was enough to turn me off of the dub. Honestly for all the faults of the 4kids dub they actually did a decent job of casting with only a few voices of major characters being off, namely Luffy and Sanji. And in the case of Sanji's actor he at least knew how to act out the role even if his voice was terrible for it.

Yes, I currently re-watching the from the beginning again. This time I brought someone with me. We are currently up to ep 28. It's quite interesting to see how deep the current story reaches back, which makes me wonder how much of this story was planned out before hand? Im re-watching to pick up on the little details I missed the first time, while my buddy is getting to see the origins of his favorite characters.

Same here. Somebody would actually have to pay me to start on episode 1, and even then there's no guarantee that I can finish at least one episode per day (and still have the motivation to catch up).
I missed the first episode a while ago, but I still wouldn't mind picking up the show from where it is now and be happy with it.

It's how I started. I bought all of VIz's singles and never watched them. Then when Funimation released the box sets I bought those and watched from episode 1.
I do not like the dub since to me it's inconsistent from character to character. Luffy's dub is excellent but the rest feels so out of place. It doesn't sound natural at all.
I need to put those Viz versions on eBay and get rid of them.

It really isn't that big a deal...just watch one or two episodes a day and it goes by fast and the series is worth it.

I only have the patience to watch a few shows at a time between American TV and anime. Watching a massive long-running series would take up too much time I could be using to see four or five others.
Plus, One Piece just doesn't interest me at all.
