I thought it was okay. I don't really think it could be made longer, though, because it was getting boring as it is.

Possibly the worst manga I have ever read. Original story, but it was presented as well as it should have been.

I agree - it was pretty good, but wasn't fantastic. Just a nice, kidna lazy story to read; not fast paced but not slow either.

At first Sand land didn't appeal to me, but after a little while, after I actually read the content, I was ok. The pictures don't really capture my attention though. [/spoiler]

wasn't a big fan. too quick and the story never really develops. Toriyama has done several one shots like this, and I dont like any of them. but they are much better than DB/DBZ

It was a fun series while it lasted. Nothing amazing but it was was a little better than average, with a few excellent points.

What do you mean? After they beat the bug(which was not a demon, but a scientific creation) its over. It says THE END and not TO BE CONTINUED. It was a super short, one volume series. It didn't even last a year, which was good, since right now the current long series might finnish in a few years, with little hope of a new coming into Viz's JUMP anytime soon.

Seem like a lot of people didn't like this manga. Is it taht bad? I'm thinking of picking it up since I like the original DB (with small goku)

Its not that its bad, just not much there. The story ends abruptly. But I like the originality, and the art is nice and offbeat, much better than DB.
