Some of these little movies are like 2 minutes long. You'd think they would be somewhere. Has anyone on here even seen some of those really old anime?

http://www.digital-meme.com/en/our_products/dvds/index.html It includes 4 discs, commentary and films from the 20's through the pre-war period. It's a region free set as well, produced in Japan apparently. |

Not sure, I have a feeling a lot of the original anime works would be rather difficult to get your hands on, as some of the first anime was government-commissioned war propaganda during the 40's.
And I'm sure the Japanese government isn't too proud of that at the moment. Good luck though |
