I'd just downloaded Blacksmith. Now i'm deleating it and haven't even had a change to watch it. I'm vary much against watching fansubs of licensed shows, even if I downloaded them before licensing.

Oooo, very interested in The Sacred Blacksmith. It's been on my To-Watch list since the fall preview. I might give Hetalia a chance since it's only 5 minutes a pop and will now be available in dub form, but I'll wait to see what the price point is.

I am excited for Hetalia. I had a hard time watching the fansubs and having them in crisp clear images on my TV will be a better watching experience.
Have not heard of the other title though. Might have to check it out. |

Overall very disappointing altogether this year.
Absolutely nothing I wanted was licensed. But I will still check out Hetalia. Just very sad that they couldn't get Higurashi Kai. I just watched the first season and it would have been awesome to have them announce the second season right after I watched it. |

yes! I loved the sacred blacksmith. Kind of quick on the license there funi, I just got done watching blacksmith like 2 weeks ago.
I hope they release the blu-ray for it. |

The Sacred Blacksmith is absolutely a perfect fit with Funi and I assumed they would pick it up. Very happy to hear my assumption is now actually a fact. I'm also predicting that there will be a second season, as well.

I think Funi will make more announcements about releases that may come out this year so this is not like a be all end all for announcements. |

Blah FUNimation. What happened? Last year was amazing in so many ways, and this year was - putting it very lightly - a piece of shit.
I have literally no interest in buying any of these licensed titles, including all of that Asian film crap. I'm an Anime fan, not a fan of everything Asian. There is a difference between a weeaboo and an Otaku you know. I hope they announce some better titles at their next big convention. Not really interested in either of these, but I might give them a try when they stream them (assuming they actually load.) I was expecting more of a "bang" on Friday, but it is what it is.
