So it's basically "watch a girl sleep without getting arrested"? What a bizarre product...

At first I thought this company (the "training with hinako) was just really silly and lame.
Then I saw the sales figures.
Now, I see this and... Whoever is behind this is a genius. An evil, evil genius but one who I am begrudgingly beginning to respect, and perhaps, fear.

Well, I for one, cannot wait until the next sequel: "Hinako Watching Paint Dry" comes out.

To embark on a project of supplementing the deficits in certain consumer's social lives is, as samuelp notes, is admirable to a degree.
Of course, being in a glass house I shouldn't throw such stones, so to speak. But on the bright side, it's not as if every otaku bachelor is in need of merchandise such as this; we all have our separate ways and means.

It sounds like they're trying to what the Wii does with things like Wii Fit, but for diehard Otaku. And a lot weirder.

I personally hope they do "Hinako clips her nails". I've had some major follicle folleys in my time and I need a 16 year old anime girl to teach me how to do it right....in Blu-Ray!

LOL. Like people have said, the guy that came up with this is just a genius. While the idea is pure idiocy, there's clearly a market for it when aimed at deprived otaku.

Wouldn't this be more effective as one of those bishoujo Flash games where you "poke" at the girl with the cursor?

mmh... I have mixed feelings about the Hinako franchise...
first off, I just don't want to imagine the kind people who love watching this...
but on the brighter side : I find Hinako at least quite adorable
and... well... it's the kind of thing that makes me say to myself, in a good way : "my God, the Japanese have the guts to produce this !!"

There'll be an "Isshoni Swimming" at some point... gotta get the sukurumizu fetish in there, too.

I only want to watch this to see what bizarre comments Hinako makes about being an anime character that lives in real life. That odd dialogue was totally worth the 3 minutes or so of the first video.

Well, that's pretty friggen bizarre. It's almost hard to tell if they're really trying to help people improve their lifestyles or just making a fetish-tastic anime in a new, weirder flavor. I get the feeling it's the former disguising itself as the latter to get otaku to buy it.
Let me know when they make a version with bishounen. ^_~

I got a kick out of the first one and look forward to the second. Pointless, but entertaining. If there's to be a third, I'd like to see "Washing the car with Hinako".......
