Eh....maybe I'll buy the first disc.....I think it's a kinda mediocre show overall.

So now... NO ONE CAN BITCH AND WHINE THIS TIME!!! MWUAHAHHA! Twisted Evil

I wonder if Media Blasters will get the manga too seeing they are getting into manga now...

Well, I could since I've only seen the first four episodes. But I'm really happy it got licensed, so I won't.

pretty solid licences (thats if Otogizoushi doesn't fall flat on its face) Media Blasters looks like their getting on the ball. the only things i actually own from them are Berserk and Twelve Kingdoms, so i hope the dubs are better than those.

AAAAAAHHHHHH!!! I hate myself! I have to see the last eps. About how long do you guys think it'll be b4 it comes to DVD? I'm stuck at the 6th ep and I have to see the rest.

I was kind of blown away that they picked Midori no Hibi up (good for them!). Media Blasters is always looking for titles that will sell a lot of DVDs and, if possible, get on TV, but unlike some of the other US companies, they aren't backed by a big Japanese parent company, so getting that big title is tough.

Judging by the number of downloads for Midori no Hibi, the show should be a huge seller. Media Blasters usually puts some good bonus content on their disks - their outtakes are pretty funny and check out Sadamitsu, it has an entire bonus show on How to be a Japanese Voice Actor. As for TV, well, they'll have to edit the early eps a little if they want to get on adult swim, but the show's concept is so twisted it might make the tube.

I was expecting Bandai to pick up Midori no Hibi, but oh well. It's good that someone picked the series up.

I thought that Pioneer was going to take this since they took Tenchi Muyo. I am not a big fan of English dub anime. I believe subs will always be better.
