I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but the Late Show actually played one of the BGM tracks from Do You Remember Love? in tonight's show.

Specifically, it was the music played during the scene where Hikaru and Minmay are on their date in the city.

Maybe Shaffer or one of his band members is an anime fan. Or at least a fan of the music. I had a music teacher that never watched anime, but he absolutely loved the Bebop soundtracks, amongst others when I gave him copies of various scores.
