Alright , I need some help. Next week is my birthday and I have a chance to buy at least 2 mangas. The thing is I don't know which one to get. Embarassed I like anime like cowboy Bebop , Heat guy J and Trigun. And I wonder if there was manga like that. Or
at least some good ones. Wink

And if does not bother anyone to answer me this. " What kind of
mangas does public libaries have?"

well, you could just get the Cowboy Bebop Manga or the Trigun Manga...

I think Cowboy Bebop manga is also available in a boxed set (not shooting star)

I'd say King of Hell, Rurouni Kenshin, or GetBackers.

Public Libraries are still fairly "new" to the whole manga thing. A lot of them are hesitant to add anything controversial to their collections. I can guarantee that if your library has any manga, they'll probably have Nausicaa...that seems to be a regular in the graphic novel collections. Of course, if you want a particular series, request that the library order that series. More times than not, libraries have small collections because no one knows what to add to it.

Kenshin is good I have the first 2 and it should be cheaper than tokyo pops mangas ..It is here. King of Hell has good art..but i haven't read it. A good one id Samuri Deeper Kyo..I am up to Vol. 5 on that one. The Anime is good to. Chobits is good. Friust Basket is good. If you like funny Yaoi(male+male) Fake is good...One Piece is funny. It is about Pirates...There are lots to choose from. Go to tokyopop.com and they have all of there mangas listed.

Get Immortal Rain! They only have one volume out, but I'm in love with it, plus I had to recommend it to at least someone. That's by Tokyopop so you'll see it on their website, or if you want some senseless comedy get Excel Saga, I love that manga as well.
Back to Immortal Rain though, it reminded me somewhat of Trigun, don't know why, but I liked it more. You could also get Hellsing, it's more funny than the anime and really enjoyable.

adolf is great, and by the god of manga, Osamu Tezuka. his most notable work is Astro Boy, all of which is out now from Darkhorse. thats great, though not heavy like Adolf. his masterwork is Phoenix, which Viz is releasing. that is amazing, but im not sure if Viz is going to release any more of it Crying or Very sad

Hm...what manga...

Get the Trigun manga for one thing. My second choice would probably be Gundam Wing or Inuyasha, or maybe Kenshin.

Yeah, Immortal Rain is a lot like Trigun. The big thing for me is that Rain looks like "Eriks."

Well from his list , he probably want an action manga. I seen preview of immortal rain, the drawing looks kinda girly. How does it compare with ragnarok?

I say get trigun Maximum if you like trigun. Or get Priest, it has a western theme and has tons of action with some humor. I'm a big Trigun & CB fan myself.

Priest is actually a manwha, a Korean comic.
