Here comes another gorgeous SHAFT anime that I'm definitely going to watch.

Is this Fall or Winter?

I've been following this manga and at times it's not for the faint of heart. Scenes from this preview clip conjure up images from the first four volumes. And yes, before someone else says it, it may appear to be another half-dressed loli running around on the screen, but don't forget, she's a vampire who's been around awhile. And in the manga, she's responsible for deeds that, to me, overshadow her appearance, all in the name of achieving her goal. It's a good manga, hopefully the anime lives up to it.

Wow...if that promo was designed to make me NOT want to watch this show, it sure did a lousy job. This looks like several varieties of awesome. Bring on the loli-vamp, sez I!

I have been reading the manga and it has a great story line. I have enjoyed the inter-clashing within the Vampire Bund and also how the humans interpret their new neighbors. There is definitely some Loli incidents, but the gore is more intense than you would of thought for the series.
Looking forward to this anime

The manga is one of my guilty pleasures. It looks like they did a fantastic job animating it.

Is there any particular reason why vampires lack nipples?

A ploy to get people to buy the with nipple DVD version?

Anyway, this does look pretty awesome, and I'm eagerly awaiting it. I've only read maybe the first couple chapters of the manga, but this seems interesting enough and the animation is quite nice, so hopefully someone will end up streaming this. I haven't touched a fansub since January, and I'm not looking to stop that now. Though this show may tempt me too much.

The manga is awesome, and this anime looks way better then I had thought it would. Whenever it does come out, I'll be there. Very Happy

Only two questions stand out for me however...

1) Were we looking at a test animation promotion or a final "this it how it's really going to look" teaser????

2) Even though its too early to tell, but will this anime be spoken near word for word from the manga, or will the script stand out a little to give it its own identity??

The latter being that when Gunslinger Girl S2 came out it almost sounded like it copied the manga too much, where the 1st season felt like it told the story their way... using the manga for reference.

I guess we wait and see.... Wink
