Not-So-Daily Link of the Day: Kyoto Newspaper reported that a keion (light music) live concert was held at the model school of K-ON! on August 1st. The keion club members of the neighboring high schools played the theme songs of K-ON! in the costumes of the anime.

The model school is the old building of Toyosato elementary school and there are about one hundred visitors a day. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Toyosato town launched an executive committee to develop the local industry taking advantage of the popularity of K-ON!. One of the classrooms of the school has been open to the public as "K-ON! Cafe" and the visitors left notes and drawings on the chalkboard.
