Hi! ven0m57,
Ah, you like "Love Hina"manga.( ´∀`)
I was reading it by Shonen magazine" around 1999-2000 .
If it is difficult for you to get paperbacks of "Love Hina"in Okinawa Base,
I'll be able to get them instead of you at used book shop in my area or Amazon Japan,
and send it to your address by packet mail.
Of course, I can only obtain Love Hina Manga by original Japanese version.(^Д^)
I have checked the price of the last vol.(vol.14) Love Hina paperback at Amazon Japan,
the price of used book is only 1yen, but needs a carriage fee 340 yen per book..(*´д`…
If I can find it in used book shop near my house, the price will be from 105yen to 250yen.
Best regards,
Agetofu ( Fukuoka Japan)

You are welcome .(´・д・`)
In your case(living in Okinawa), the best way to obtaining original (writen in Japanese.) manga
is to go and check used book shop named "Book OFF"in Okinawa .
You can find many Mangas, Music CDs and DVDs there in reasonable prices.
Please input and retriev "Book OFF Okinawa"by Google.
You will hit 3 shops of Book OFF Google Map in Naha-city.
There are two more Book OFF shops in Okinawa.
One is in Koza(Okinawa-city) and the other is in Uruma-city.
The price of Shounen/Shoujo(boy/girl) used tabko-bon(=paper back) is 105 yen each.
A used book with good level is 250 yen each.
When it is one packing sales on the series, it will be likely to become about 50 yen each.
The price of Seinen/Ladies Comic is 105yen each and 350yen each with good level.
There is a point backing system of only 1% of the purchase amount if you become a member.
The registeration and the anunual are free of charge.
Only you write your name and address in application form.
First of all, please check those shops.
If you can not find the manga which you want there , I 'll be able to help you obtain that.
As GTO and Ma iHime are very popular manga, so you can easily find that at Book OFF.
These works also have the possibility of pakage sales with special price.
Please ask the clerk there. ( ´∀`)σ)Д`)
We are calling the genre like "Love Hina" ,"Ochi-mono=(falls from the sky)"in Japan.
That is to say,
The nice bit of fluff appears suddenly in the ordinary hero who doesn't have gain either,
and she lives with him. In addition, her companion might join and becomes the state of the harem.
It is a genre of the realization of m
anga
lover boy/young person's delusion.(*´Д`)
My recommendation in this genre are, ( ´∀`)つt[],[],[]
Kousuke Fujishima's "ああっ女神さまっ(Oh My Goddess!)"
Rumiko Takahashi's"うる星やつら(Urusei Yatsura =Lum/ The Return of Lum)",
Masaki Kajishima's "天地無用!(Tenchi Muyo!=meaning is This side up.)"
Peach pit's "ローゼン メイデンRozen Maiden"
Incidentally, Rozen Maiden is on of a favorite book of the Prime Minister in Japan Mr.Taro Aso.
When he was a Foreign Minister, he was called "Rosen Your Excellency(=ローゼン閣下)" in web. ( ´,_ゝ`)
