I have been noticing for quite a while that School Rumble has very slowed down with the amount of volumes coming out. It was 4 volumes a year and now it is down to just 2. I am not sure why this is happening. The series has ended over in Japan (So I doubt it has and I do not see any obvious reasons for Del Rey to slow down with its release. So, what I am asking is, does anyone know why Del Rey is slowing down the release of School Rumble or why is it is slowing down in general.

For some reason Del rey slowed the releases to Pastel, Suzuka, and Gacha Gacha: The Next Revolution as well so this isnt just happening to School Rumble. But Pastel and Gacha Gacha both increased in price so perhaps they werent performing that well in terms of sales.

I didn't notice the other series since I don't buy them.

To tell you the truth I don't think anyone would know why it's all slowed down. I had gotten into a manga called last hope at one time and after volume two of the manga I never saw it again. I wounder if i'll ever see volume three....

I'm going to go on a wild guess here and say budget cuts-companies are trimming the fat off themselves.

If that is the case, why is Tsubasa getting special treatment with 2 volumes being released at the same time in October?

Um, yes-whatever is selling well, keep selling it and possibly speed up the release is what I would guess.
