I too friend, am a loyalist when it comes to anything produced by the team which brought Ico and Shadow of the Colossus to fruition. I shall be singing praises about this newest installment way before it even gets a release date. You are not alone.

I can't believe that Ashita no Joe Neo Geo game is THAT bad. Thats a shame cause I mean...geez, its boxing. The game practically writes itself - especially with such a rich (read: masterpiece) background Anime to draw from.
The baby Griffon is cute.

Hammering Hero looks cool, however would eventually become repetitive after a couple of hours.
But I wish I could play that new Final Fantasy game. Oh well, at least I did have a chance to play the original Final Fantasy four years ago.

Man, they better put more than just Senel in from Legendia, I love that game! I don't get why everyone hates it so much (meaning the story and characters, even I think Abyss has better gameplay). I'm not entirely mad at putting Colette in. Sure, I hate her as a character and the CPU just makes her pow-hammer enemies constantly to no usage whatsoever, but she's fun to use if you put the TV on mute and control her yourself.
Oh? What's this? Another Atlus/Sting love going on the DS? I might have to consider that.

I never played the original Ico but Shadow of the Colossus was brilliant. I can't wait for the next one.

That's some very, very impressive character animation in Trico. The griffon looks like someone glued some feathers to a cat, shaved it's tail, and filmed it, and that's a good thing. Even if the whole thing is pre-rendered instead of realtime, it's still better animated than the vast majority of big-budget CG films. Sure, the lighting leaves a lot to be desired, but you can't win 'em all.

My feelings exactly. And its cute. If nothing else, the Griffon sells me on the art alone.

I never hated Colette (Tales of Symphonia). I just wanted her to be banned from apologizing ever again (and I sorta got my wish when she temporarily went mute).

If games like this help to pay for ambitious projects like The King of Fighter XII, may there be a thousand more witch touching games!

Pre-ordered my copy of Knights in the Nightmare. I just wish the Amazon price drops back down over the weekend. Despite that, I'm still glad I was able to shave a few bucks off. I't well worth the longer wait. Besides, I still have to finish Avalon Code...

Me too- I haven't even seen that trailer yet (I'll be tracking it down shortly)... all I've seen before now is a screenshot of a well/cavey thing with a shadow in it, and I've been dying to play it. Finding out shadow likely equals adorable baby griffin just makes me want it more.

Man, the Trico trailer was the best game-related thing that I watched in quite some time. I actually played SotC first, being utterly impressed with it, I kicked myself for not getting Ico when it was first released. I ended up importing it, and hearing about the additional stuff missing from the NTSC version, I consider myself lucky for being driven to buy the PAL version.
The architecture and the clothing in the trailer are quite reminiscent of its predecessors, so I wonder if this one will end up a sequel/prequel to either games.

Tales of VS is definitely on my get list. I hope they add Eugene from Rebirth and Repede as well. More from the Tales of Hearts cast would be nice too.
Btw, you do know Repede doesn't actually smoke the pipe right?
And those random Tales names you made were pretty good :3
FF4 After Years, hmmmm, I'm still quite curious as I grew up with Cecil's adventure. I might consider it.

Trico looks interesting, though Colossus underwhelmed me with somewhat monotonous gameplay and a drab environment that even the Colossi could not compensate for. Oh well, Ico was interesting so I'll keep my eye and ears open for any news of it this week.
And at least I have news of Itagaki's post-Temco events and No More Heroes 2 stuff. Now those were tasers to the spine
