Hope I'm doing this right... (Also didn't see another topic on this so hope it's okay)

Who: London MCM Expo
What: Movies, Comics, Media expo. Anime, movies, comics etc event
When: 23-24 May 2009
Where: Excel Centre London, E16 1XL
Website: http://www.londonexpo.com/
Cost: Adult Ticket (15 years old & above): £10
Child Ticket (11 to 14): £5
Children (10 years & below) gain Free Entry if accompanied by a full paying adult (restricted to 2 children per full paying adult)
'EARLY ENTRY' Tickets £13 Per Day, includes £1booking fee.

I assume we're allowed to discuss stuff with regards to the event? Or do we just announce stuff? If something's wrong with this topic could someone please correct me.

If we are allowed to discuss stuff is there anything in particular people are looking forward to at the event? Any of the exhibitors or guests you're looking forward to? Personally I'm looking forwards to seeing what Rising Star Games have on offer.

I've decided to go to this. Though it occurs during the exam period, it may be some time before I get another chance to go to a con. I live at the other end of the DLR, so travel isn't a problem, and the price is decent. Some folk I know are planning on travelling quite a distance to attend though.

I'm not interested in games too much; I'll be going for the atmosphere.

I'll be checking everything else out of course. Probably going to end up making impulse buys on merchandise again...

A tenner isn't too bad by Londinium standards. I don't mind paying that for a single occasion. Mike MacRae (a VA apparently) is a guest, as is childhood hero Craig Charles, but guests aren't a major selling point for me. Provided there are freebies and promotions I'll be happy, even if I don't end up buying anything.

(By the way, the DLR is only going as far east as East India this weekend. Replacement busses are operating from Canary Wharf.)

EDIT: Just got back. 'Twas smashing. TARDIS cosplay, anyone?
