That MOONLIGHT MILE review is an instant classic. I previously wasn't interested in the show, but now I think I need to see a Manly Man show to balance out all the Moe I've been watching lately.

I'm glad LAST EXILE is getting some love. I collected this as it was released the first time. Good, solid storytelling, amazing visuals and a GREAT soundtrack. It's the one anime of the hundreds I've seen that I know I can recommend to anyone: my parents, church mates, co-workers as well as anime fans. It's just a good show.
But like all things, it's not for everyone. As for me, it's one of my favorites.
Keep up the great work!

i didn't think Night Head Genesis was that bad, but that's me. the animation was pretty bad, but it had good writing and kept you watching.

Neat, Jenna has Region 2 copies of Tales of Rebirth, Tales of Destiny 1&2, and Fate Stay/Night: Realta Nua.

I know a number of people were excited when Last Exile got rescued but I haven't heard anything about the show before or since. I think I'll add it to my Netflix queue though, especially if it's good enough for hoards of cosplayers!

My only two complaints: the lack of extras in the thinpaks (EXTRAS I SAY, EXTRAS! WE NEED THE AD-VIDNOTES BACK IN THE EXCEL SAGA BOXSETS! And maybe an extra disc for Puni Puni Poemy...) and the neglect to even mention that the pillows (the band who provided the soundtrack for FLCL) did the ending theme for Moonlight Mile. That's the only reason I want to see the series.

Hah, I remember hearing about Moonlight Mile a while back. Was kind of hopping it was another great space drama like Planetes, but after reading the review thats obviously not the case. It does look gorgeous though. Back on my radar anyway.

I will have to throw Moonlight Mile in the rental queue, just so that I can know what it is to be so virile to be able to pee sports cars and brisket.
Netflix has Last Exile on instant viewing, I think I will sample it there.
Big fan of Media Blaster's but will have to admit that Nighthead Genesis, does little for me from what little (a disturbing Media Blaster's trend on non yuri titles) I have heard about it.

“the Giant Swirl" must be the Japanese dialog- The English dub calls the move "the Windmill". Pretty funny when he arrives to the space station and delivers "the windmill, zero-G style".
