I am glad that they didn't start over from the beginning again, it took forever to get to #5. I can't wait to see more!

Final-frickin-ly! Been waiting on this forever.
Seems strange to have a release date with "2010" in it though. Makes me feel old.

Do I really need to kick ADV while it's down?.....yes, I do. For putting some of my favorite manga on hiatus, not for months, but YEARS. Gunslinger Girl? Cromartie? Kudos to Yen for picking up Yotsuba and for their continuing bold experiment in a monthly manga anthology.

Three months between volumes six and seven, four between seven and eight.
Makes sense, really; there will probably only be one more volume released by the time that Yen Press will publish volume eight, and they'll get that out in the latter half of the year.

Any news that they'll be re-releasing the first 5 volumes? Even second hand, they're going for a painfully high above-retail price in the UK.

For the love of fandom. Here's a novel concept for ya: it's called being "happy"! Sheeeeesh.
Yen Press, you win at life, for this and for many, many other stellar series under your badass licensing belt. And I love you so for that.

brand: They should have re-released the older volumes at the same time. Plus, the fact that the new ones are being released 3-4 months apart doesn't exactly show much confidence in them...
fresh: Try getting screwed by a greedy business partner, and see what that feels like before trashing ADV.
Hellkorn: I just find it ironic that fans were impatient with ADV being unable to get up to speed on the newer volumes, but now they don't mind waiting another nine months to catch up with Japan.

It's great to see any title rescued from licensing limbo but as Yotsuba&! is a personal favorite of mine, that just makes it even better. One can only hope that we'll see this trend continue.
