Well, yes, that's why I said appropriate. As for Hellsing, I actually believe they got British actors for the series. Whoops on you!

The only thing I'm annoyed about this series is that next time I'm going to the mall- I'm buying this.
>__< Gosh darn it all! In short, loved it... the violence wasn't even that bad, though the arm that was mostly bone made me laugh more than being disgusted it just looked so funny in an awkward yet funny way o_O I actually liked the accents, they weren't like full on British (like in Hellsing, though the Hellsing accents weren't that bad) or something, but more downplayed. I think it really helped the 'feel' to it. I'm very impressed by the dub, though the characters at the beginning of episode 1 confused me, since they kind of disspeared afterwards. But oh well. |

Yeah 90 percent of those people were actually british, and had authentic accents. |

Really...? Okay, confession, I watched about five minutes of the dub; I liked Jouji Nakata so much I couldn't stand hearing anyone else as Alucard, and I must've caught a bad bit. I am really embarrassed, actually, feeling INCREDIBLY stupid... need to learn to keep my mouth shut.... Anyway... nobody answered my question about the honorifics... are they in the DVD release? |

Whatever you heard on the FUNi website will be on the DVD.
I can't possibly fathom them doing two different dub tracks, so it's safe to say that if you heard honorifics in the dub on FUNi's site then you'd hear it on the DVD as well. Honestly though, I don't think I could put up with Ladd's English voice ever so I'll stick to the subs. |

I believe vashfanatic is referring to the subtitles, not the dub. |

Yeah, there's no dub on the online episode. I wouldn't be asking about whether the accents were any good if there were, because I would've watched it (Jouji Nakata isn't in this one). |

Wrong once again.
Episodes 1 and 2 are on their website dubbed. |

Then that's recent. I only watched the first subtitled one they've had up for a while. Thanks for the link, I'll go check it out! |

THANK YOU! I've been scouring the website and could never find those. I've been wanting to hear the English dub for this series. |

Seconding those thanks! I couldn't find the blasted episodes anywhere, but I knew they had to be lurking around someplace!

Flying Pussyfoot? The train is actually called the Flying Pussyfoot?
Does anyone else see anything horribly wrong with this? |

I assume they mean the train is quiet, or...other than that I don't know. It's a pretty weird name, but it's only "horribly wrong" if you don't know that pussyfoot is a word.

Erm ... no? It's not like all the characters are running around screaming "IT'S THE FLYING PUSSTFOOT! WOOO!111!". It's kind of annoying, but that's about it. |
