Gurren Lagann

I had pre-ordered the Gurren Lagann artbox and went to watch dvd 1 the other night. The Dvd got hung up multiple times throughout episodes and 3,4, and 5. There was also sound errors too. I just emailed Bandai today on it. So I figured I let everyone know. Has anyone else had issues with Gurren Lagann?

I didn't get the artbox, but assuming the discs are still printed at the same place....no I didn't have any issues. I got the slipcase with Dvd 1 and 2.

I just got an email back from Bandai and they said they are sending me out a replacement. I still have not watched disc 2 so hopefully it will play fine.

I bought my GL artbox a while ago, and still haven't had the chance to watch it. I need to check it out to see if I have this problem as well.


Though I had let a friend borrow the discs and he didn't mention any issues.

I just got my replacement in the mail yesterday during the snowstorm. After I was all tired from shoveling snow I found a package in from Bandai. Without having to send in the old DVD they sent me a replacement with a new case and included a Ghost in the Shell poster, a S-Cried sticker, and a sticker with a girl with some cat ears, a Stratos 4 pencil board, a Cowboy Bebop sticker, and a Please twins postcard. All in all I really love how they handled my DVD replacement and was really impressed.

I finally got around to check to see how the replacement disc for volume 1 worked and lucky me it was a bad disc too. The last two episodes would not play. Rolling Eyes I guess I will try this one more time. God, I haven't even been able to make it to disc 2 yet and the fun doesn't stop! Laughing

Good luck. I have never had this problem and if there was an issue it cleared up quickly or I just took it back to the store. Thanks for keeping us posted Smile

Wish I could bring it back to a store, but I pre-ordered it during the last Bandai sale at Rightstuf. I have never had a replacement disc be bad on me before. I hope this is not the new DVD replacator they got to replace the old one. Rolling Eyes
