Not surprised. NnO is a pretty good anime, but I'm not sure if I want to buy it. I enjoyed Saiga's performance as Yoite, but other than that it fell a bit short for me. Never finished it.

My thoughts exactly, especially since I remember hearing that C&D letters were sent out from FUNi for this series. I still need to finish it, but will probably be buying it when it comes out as I have enjoyed it so far.

I remember reading about this anime and it seemed interesting to me. So If Funimation picked up this anime then it must mean that Bamboo Blade, El Cazador de la Bruja, Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!, and Monochrome Factor have a chance at being licensed. My reasoning for this is because they asked for the fansubs of Nabari no Ou Ninja to be pulled at the same time they asked the others to be pulled. animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-08-11/3-titles-fansubs-pulled-on-behalf-of-japan-d-rights

Well, even though I really don't have too much of an interest in this title, at least (for me) their announcements have been getting better. I'm still waiting for something I actually wish to spend my time and money on though.

Hell yeah Smile I'll be buying this whenever it's available. At the rate the fansubs are going, I'll finish it on DVD before they are done anyway.

I don't even follow fan-subs but this show looks generically generic. I think I'll pass.

Well, this leaves one more open slot, and the chances are good that it's Seto no Hanayome.

I think I watched one episode of Nabari and got bored of it; does it get good?

Nah, if you didn't like it at first, I wouldn't recommend it.

I've been hoping to check this anime out as soon as it got licensed, and now FUNi has done just that! Ever since I saw a few chapters in Yen Plus I've been meaning to go back and read what they've published, but for some reason I keep getting stuck on the dialogue so I've had a very tough time getting into it.

I'm really hoping it's just a case of the "better in color" phenomenon and that once I see the anime, I'll be able to go back and enjoy the manga more easily. I've only seen fan art and vectors so far of the main character and the one named Yoite, who I must admit, I'm already liking from what little I've heard about him (which is almost nil), so I'm hoping the same'll happen with the supporting cast. Well meh. I really didn't like this particular anime due to a multitude of factors. If this had been part of a brand new 10, I would probably be alot less antagonistic then I am now. This was one of the two shows we didn't know. I much much would have rather had Seto or Spice and Wolf. It's quite possible we don't get either which would just piss me off.

I know there's a real good chance that Katekyo Hitman Reborn is gonna be on Funi's "New-Show-A-Go-Go" countdown. Course i'll stick to the original.

Also, haven't we got ENOUGH ninja animes? Geez, stop milking what's left of that genre.

Seems more likely that it will be Hetalia - Axis Powers
This hint starts out "Hey Talia".
