I just bought Dokuro-Chan at Best Buy this weekend so it is already out right? Or am I mis-reading the article.
Anyway, I really enjoyed it so I would be really happy if we ever got the manga aswell.

Yeah, I brought Dokuro-chan at Suncoast a few weeks ago. It has both Season 1 and 2 on it in a 2 disk set.

Didn't know there were light novels on this. Love this show. I finally got my copy (awhile back), really like the cover art. Now I'm waiting for it's evil cousin 'Punie-chan'.
Be curious to see some of the manga. I hope 'MB' picks up the 2nd Season.

I would love the manga also. Hopefully someone pulls through to fulfill that hope.

If my memory serves it was released as a light novel first, then adapted into the anime, and around the time the anime was finishing up the manga started. I've been following the manga in Japanese, but it's kind of hard to read more than a chapter at a time because the overly-grotesque humor starts to affect the brain adversely. lol

I love the humor in Dokuro-chan. I saw it last year and thought it was hilarious and when I got it this year, I thought it was just a hilarious the second time. Plus, the shortness makes it a nice watch on a friday night.

Unfortunately since it's licensed by them, there's no english dub versions out so i'm out of luck.

The recent DVD release contains an English dub does it not? I haven't purchased it yet but I remember looking at the back of the case recently and it said English Dialog or English Subtitled.
