I've been listening to this song almost every time I'm on the internet and its one of the only openings I immediatly went back and rewatched when it was done. The song and opening I'm talking about is "Nigeru Mono" by Susumu Hirasawa, also know as the opening to Paprika.

I simply seem addicted to this song somehow, and although the visuals are really cool to look at for the opening too, I really like how the song always seems to be 'moving' in a way. Wether its with the vocals in the background, or what sounds to me like a synthesizer going on, theres so many instruments playing, something new always seems to be happening during the course of the song and its so interesting to listen to no matter how many times I've heard it.

I've also been listening to "Run" by the same guy from Millenium Actress quite a bit too recently, mostly for the same reasons, except I find "Nigeru Mono" a bit more active, I find "Run" more fantastic and epic sounding. The reason I'm addicted to this song its pretty much the same as above as well. I also backtracked in Millenium Actress to hear this song again too.

"Hello, Strange Days" by Yuko Miyamura for My Dear Marie (Boku no Marie)

It fits the OVA so perfectly. I loved it ever since I saw it on Comcast on Demand, and I have recently purchased it in a twin pack with Cosplay Complex. The song actually made me want to find more about My Dear Marie and it made me wonder if Hiroshi would get Ms. Marie and what would happen to Marie-chan if that came to be.

Now that I know it was a manga before hand, I want more and have found the 1st volume in English online. That is how hypnotizing the song is. If anyone could help me, please contact me.

I leave you with the dulcet tones of Yuko Miyamura in HD

1/3 Junjo na Kanjo by Siam Shade, from Rurouni Kenshin. Freakin' good song, and it's hard to get tired of it. Same for Tears I Cried. Hideki's voice is awesome. A shame they disbanded Anime cry.

And those who know me know I can't forget to mention THAT song (I bet everyone's tired of it, though)

The Meaning Of Truth by Hiro-X. 3 years as my favorite song... And seems nothing can get it off it!

No Boy No Cry - Stance Punks

once i play that, i ususally put it on repeat for about another 10 times, the song is fun to listen to, and its one of my favs

What's Up People - Maximum The Hormone

Another fav, mostly due to the fact of the weird receptions i get from people around me who hear me blasting the song from my headphones

First opening from Eureka 7. Wonderful voice on the singer.

Opening theme for Hellsing. It has a good rhythm and that 30's real gangster feel to it.

2nd opening for Fullmetal Alchemist. (Ready,Steady,Go?) Good energy song =D

Pretty much the entire Toonami Deep Space Bass soundtrack. Smile The tunes remind me of the good old days of when I used to watch anime every weekday evening after school. Used to be pumped!!

Others have already mentioned it in this thread, but I have to note Susumu Hirasawa - The Girl in Byakkoya. So weird is Paprika that I'm not able to watch the film for more than a few minutes, but this song (along with The Man From Narcissus Space, my favourite piece of his) is always so inviting to the ear. His distinctive vocoding combined with solid vocal delivery makes for a memorable combination.

Ash like Snow by The Brilliant Green is a good one. Whenever I listen to it, I always get excited and motivated to do something. Like how the Gundams were motivated to fight.

The second song is Breakthrough by Coming Century from Eyeshield 21. Anyone knows that listening to this song will just make you wanna make it in sports.

What Up, People (Death Note OP2)... I love this song. I hated the older OP. The show is about a quiet kid who's secretly like a psychopath with insane homicidal tendencies but the old OP was some soft rock that was really queer imo. What people is like insane heavy metal and one of the first images is the main character laughing his head off like a mad man. I think it fits better with the show and everytime that I hear the song, I think of some crazy scene. Plus, the visuals were cooler and the song was good.

Blue Bird (Naruto Shippuuden OP)... I think this song is really good.

Every Hell Girl ED... It's always the same artist I think, but I really love her songs. They always have a really sad tone to them and seem really mellow. Plus her voice is cool.

There's a bunch of other ones from Bleach, Naruto, Gundam 00 and a show I can't remember that was about a witch school and a kid with a magic eye that hurt him, but let him turn into Lelouch/Light and totally command any situation he was in.
