Don't use run-on sentences on your site.

First off, publisher sucks when building a website. Dont let anyone fool you, if you want to build a above average website, lern HTML. All publisher made websites look the same. Be unique.

Well i've always been quite partial to DreamWeaver for its ease of use and of course for the option to view the layout of the page as you enter code. I agree with JDINGBAT1 on the point that you should learn html first if you want to have a more personal website.
Angelfire, Geocities, and 50megs all offer free web hosting (with adds). So they act as a nice way of testing the water that is web design before you go out and pay for hosting or setting up a server of your own. |

I'd have to agree here, it's not hard to learn HTML. I've never used any of those programs. Then again, I am a CS student, so I enjoy code. |

If you're looking for web hosting, may I suggest web1000.com. You get 50MB web space, unlimited bandwith, and it supports any movie files. A great place to get your hosting, and its completely free!!! I used it, and it is great!!!
P.S. If you're also looking for a HTML publisher, go with Front Page or ColdFusion... |

I started out learning html *it's really easy to learn* and then moved onto dreamweaver mainly for table help *tables are my weakness, hear me run from them.* I started out on many free host, but when it gets down to it, free hosting sucks. For around 5 bucks a month *even less in some cases* paid hosting is worth it. Also, I liked to use photoshop when creating layouts, and image ready when slicing up those layouts.
*is no attempting to get the gist of PHP* |

i'd go for Dreamwaver, you can get it online for free.
i often find other people's suggestions are sometimes not very good for me at least, but i suppose its all down to the user, so id try out a few different programs. i often find other people's suggestions are sometimes not very good for me at least |
