Hey i've seen trailers of the 3rd inuyasha movie but i wanted to know if the other 2 are out on dvd in the United States?

They won't be out on dvd for a while. I've only heard rumors that viz is getting the rights to them.

Actually, it was reported in this forum that dubbing on the two first movies had started (should be done by now). IIRC, it'd been said earlier that Viz hoped for a summer release for them.

I thought it was that they only acquired the first one, planned to put it out, and use its sales to determine whether or not to go for the next.

That's what I thought too, but apparently it's old news.

"Word out of Viz on the IY movies: Viz has closed the deal for the USA distribution rights to the first 2 Inu movies and plans to have both of them dubbed by the fall, if not sooner. (They probably will also get the 3rd movie as soon as the USA rights come up for sale.) Viz also has completed the IY series dubs through Ep. 95. (^_*)"

This according to herbkir on the inuyashaworld.com boards. Unless he comes along here and comfirms this, don't put 100% trust in this info.
