Does anybody know how many episodes of Chrno Crusade Gonzo is going to make? At first, I thought they're going to do a 13-episode series, but after looking at the Encyclopedia there's more episodes.

I'd say the usual 24/26 episodes. I don't know for sure. *grumbles about them jumping around the manga too much and turning off from the original story*

Agreed! That last 2 new episodes I saw were practically fillers. Confused

>.< I think they made that one episode just so they can animate a stinking Harley.

From all the sites I went to, 13 episodes was the predicted ep count. However, I did see 2 sites that said the ep. count was still undetermined. If you look at the dates next to the last 3 episodes in the encyclopedia, the dates are Feb 23, March 1, and March 8. I am just curious where they found that information. Maybe a tv listing schedule in Japanese or something...

Well Chrno Crusade is a pretty fast pace anime. For those who actually watch it may know what I'm talking about, but I think it could be like... 20 eps? Since 13 eps does seem a little short.

Is Chrono Crusade on tv? Or do you have to buy it on dvd/vhs?

Fansub only at this point. I forget, did ADV pick it up or did they only snag the manga?

They haven't bought the rights to the anime yet, only the manga. I can't wait for the manga to come out because it's SOOOOOOOO much better.

This is one of the major reasons why I like seeing the anime before reading the manga. The manga usually is better than the anime series itself. It's practically parallel to watching the movie first before you read the book :)

So many details left out, or changes made... Since I haven't read the manga yet in this case, I'm enjoying what I do have access to.

Yeah, that's mainly been my problem with reading manga before the anime. >.< It's a love/hate feeling when they announce one of your fave mangas being animated.

Lucky for me I only read up to vol 3 of Chrno Crusade, and they've past it in the tv series.
