Laughing Now that I think about it, I guess Uryu sort of is a sewing otaku. But "tapestry fanatic" is so much more poetic!

I've noticed that Blue Dragon won't be airing for the second week in a row. I wonder if it's just on hiatus, or simply canceled?

Well, I was going to buy the DVD's anyway.

I'd guess canceled, since that's been the case with last few Viz shows that aired and cartoon network that weren't Naruto, Bleach or Death Note.

For your sake, I hope Viz doesn't drop them.

on hiatus I would hope since it did leave a cliffhanger... also did Cartoon Network just skip the whole Jotho seasons I remember they were just starting Pokemon Jotho and then the next few weeks there now on Master Quest well mostly at the end of Master Quest

I would say the main reason anime is skimpy right now is that it's summer. All TV in NA tends to get a little weak during that time. At one time summer TV was nothing but reruns and mostly still is.

YTV is actually moving it's Friday BIonix to Saturday and in the process reducing it to only two hours. It's hard to say what will happen in the fall. Needless to say, anime is really sparce in Canada right now.

While it doesn't seem like its coming back to TV anytime soon, there is a chance that episode 15 will air on Toonami Jetstream this Monday.

Is the list, especially of new episodes, getting shorter?

Oh great, they're rerunning Death Note! Something I don't particularly care for... Blood+ or FMA or Trinity Blood (if they still have it) would be better options... the Death Note anime just doesn't compare to the manga and just UGH.

Bandai isn't forcing Bang Zoom! to do 2 episodes a week for broadcast for nothing. So yeah, GL on Scifi will be in dubbed.

I Think Blue Dragon is done, Shonen Jump USA said episodes 15-18 were going to air this month, showing that Viz wasn't needing a hiatus for dubbing purposes. And you know what's great? YTV picked this show up for the fall, hopefully not for Bionix.

I don't think Bionix is going to have a good lineup. 3 shows broadcasting new episodes, 2 of which are like 25+ episodes behind the US broadcast.

His usual style would not have been in keeping with the "summer is boring" theme.

Damn. Way to spoil the Eva: Rebuild plot for us.

Pokemon you press "B" to stop evolution and Digimon you press "B" to evolve to the next level. How could you possibly get these mixed up?

Gotta generate buz for the new "season" sets. At least it gives us a chance to harken back on better days and clense our minds of the dretch that was N.

Yeah, YTV's schedule change is anything but sweet. This is probably the worst thing they've pulled with the block... ever! And they don't even have Canadian Content quotas to blame it on this time, because they're just replacing it with tween-targeted movies.

If Blue Dragon is indeed introduced to the block this fall, it's all over. We're back to square one. The dream is dead. Note that I'm not even expecting Death Note to come back for a second run.
