Hidamari Sketch x 365
So... What this next month/season has you interested? Personally there are two that I am looking forward to watching and I'll probably give the rest a quick peek. Hidamari Sketch was great fun, soft, cute, bubbly and guaranteed to bring a stupid goofy smile. The second season looks to be doing exactly the same, slightly disappointing that the 1st ep seems to be setting the series up for a rehash of the 1st series but still the same style and goofy grin at the end. Otherwise I want to check out School Rumble Sangakki, I hope they will end up in England as promised at the end of Nigakki, shame it looks to just be an OAV. I'll probably get the manga for the series eventually. I also will be carrying on with the only series from last season that is 1) still carrying on and 2) and good, namely Wagaya no Oinari Sama (Kurenai gets an honourable mention as well but it's not carrying on) WHat about you, what piques your interest? |

I'll have to see at least one or two more episodes to be sure, but based on the first episode alone Telepathy Shojo Ran has some promise. Although it seems to skew towards a younger audience, it has a definite dark edge to it.

I watched the 1st two of that and was a bit underwhelmed, I don't know what it was about it that disappointed me so much but I just found it a slog to get through the 2 eps.
There are still a large number of titles still to show their 1st eps but there is currently nothing apart from the 2 I mentioned that I know I will want to watch, I'll have the check some of the others out. |
