This studio has released some amazing anime series such as
Eureka 7
Soul Eater
RahXephon
Darker than Black
Full Metal Alchemist
and of course Wolfs Rain.
Theres others but those were the ones that came to my mind the fastest.
How do you think there new series Bōnen no Xamdou will live up to there name.
Any thoughts on what story the Eureka 7 movie will follow? Maybe Gravity Boys & Lifting Girl.

I can't contribute much by way of information. It seems Bones is keeping it close to the chest on this one. However, I'm anxiously awaiting the debut. Studio Bones, YUM!

Why is BONES so amazing? What's outstanding about the series you've listed? And what are your opinions about the Bounen no Xamdou movie? It's customary on this site to give your own opinions on something before asking for opinions from others. Also, please see our forum rules at:

I guess my post would qualify as a one liner, though it wasn't intended that way. To answer your question regarding Studio Bones, I've found the overall quality of their shows to be consistantly above average, to the point where I can expect a project from them to achieve a fairly high standard. As a result, I'm willing to check out just about anything that comes from them. I've even searched them on Anime Planet under "studio" just to get a list of everything they've done so I can watch every one. So far, I haven't been dissapointed. Production I.G is another studio that I tend to trust for quality content. I'm also keeping my eye on Brains Base. They did Baccano and Kure Nai so that's enough to make me sit up and pay attention.

I did my best to look up information on Bōnen no Xamdou but couldn't find anything relevant to the plot. We'll just have to wait for more to be released. Still, I'm always interested in hearing about new projects from Bones. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm a big fan of Bones. I've watched most of series they've been a part of. My favorite series being Eureka Seven. I also really enjoyed Scrapped Princess, Wolf's Rain, and Darker Than Black.

Xamdou is going to be a tv series, I heard they had ep 5 dubbed a while ago, expecting it to be in the fall season, should be at the least a visual masterpiece as far as tv series go.

FullMetal Alchemist and Eureka 7 freaking rocked, although sadly I haven't finished watching all of Eureka 7 yet. Both of them were big hits with me, with excellent animations, storylines, music...well, everything really to do with the show was awesome. Anime hyper I can't really pick at the show to describe it.

I'm curious to see what the Eureka 7 movie will follow. Maybe the movie will follow the manga or retell the anime? I doubt it'll be like a sequel like the FMA movie was, since E7 ended without loose ends to tie up. Whatever it is though I can't wait to see it, and I bet it'll be just as great as the anime itself.
