Iono-sama Fanatics is erroneously listed in the encyclopedia as Iono The Fanatics.
The pictures of the book on Amazon, Book Depository and the publisher's own website do show a pre-release mock-up of the cover with the the incorrect Iono The Fanatics title but that isn't the title that actually ended up on the version of the cover that was ultimately used (and nor is it the title the publisher lists it under). |

Not the final NA English title? Maybe. Erroneous? Heck no.
And... a cover PICTURE of the NA English release, please? Right now all sources you've provided have the original Japanese cover, and I won't change it to what you said just because the TEXTS of those pages said so. I've seen way too many reputable online shopping sites (Amazon et al.) with their text not matching the product title printed on the cover PICTURE, particularly those with prepositions. And please don't provide pages from Infinity Studios next time. Not everyone has a quad-core CPU. |

Yes, it's the NA title I'm calling "erroneous". Sorry if I wasn't clear.
Well - and I'm slightly embarassed to admit this - I own the first volume, so you could just take my word for it. I can take a photo of it of you really, really need me to but I'd rather not. My copy is currently at the bottom of a large taped-up box in my loft along with scores of other books and DVDs that I need to get around to selling off on Amazon Marketplace. Finding it would be a pain...
And here was me thinking it was just my computer that struggled with their crappy website. |

And I own both volumes.
No need for that then, for 1) I take you word and 2) I've found the cover of Infinity Studios' edition on a Thai blog. Weird enough that they adapted the romaji transliteration rather than the more "English" title already existed on the cover of the original Japanese edition, and I wonder why all those websites (including Infinity Studios' own page, Amazon, Right Stuf, etc.) haven't switched to the cover of NA release.
I hate those CPU resource dinosaurs... |

Possibly they wanted to make it sound more obviously Japanese to differentiate it from the manhwa titles they seem to specialise in. Then again, maybe it's just that (as has been pointed out on another current thread) American otaku sometimes get funny ideas about Japanese titles:
Anyway, thanks for fixing the title. |

I'm running a seven year old computer (PowerPC G4/733MHz (single core), though on a cable modem connection) and it came up okay for me. :-/ |

(This is OT but I think it's okay since the traffic on this forum is nowhere as heavy as Anime forum anyway ) It could be possible that Flash is more suitable under a RISC-based CPU e.g. PPC (I'm no expert in this area so correct me if I'm wrong). After all, Macromedia and Adobe are much more Mac-inclined than other software developers. I've got an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ with 576 MB of physical RAM. If I'm idling with my Firefox 2.0.0.14 on a non-Flash web page (e.g. ANN forum) the CPU usage is between 2-4%. However, if I opened that Infinity Studios' page the usage suddenly soared to 82-88%. When I first tried opening it last night I had my Trillian in the tray back then (while idling can take less than 5%, a pop-up message reminder window takes about 30%, and if multiple pop-ups show up at the same time while you are having a conversation it can go up to 70% or more), and the two summed up to 95-100%, significantly hogging my computer and turning my CPU fan into a hair dryer. |

Okay, I checked it using Activity Monitor, and with ten tabs open in Firefox, the CPU usage was 70%–90+%. Closing the single Infinity Studios product tab reduced that to the single digits, and now in the mid-teens. (I do have 768 MB of RAM, and plenty of free hard drive space for swapping, which may help, though the RAM usage does not differ much.) I'd sic Adblock Plus on the banner, but it's also the navigational menu. |
