Pinch me, I must be dreaming. <-- tears of joy
Dokuro-chan licensed?!? I would have never seen this coming in a million years. This license totally made my week. Thank you Media Blasters! You guys rock.
Hopefully they picked up the second series.

The immortality is actually that he turns the world into a pedo's dream. This isn't spoilers, and it doesn't matter because the show focuses on her killing him at every opportunity. I sure hope it receives no dub.

There is no TV series, it always was an OVA.

I'm 99.9% positive it won't be dubbed. If you looked up the word "niche" in the dictionary, you'd find a picture of Dokuro-chan. Besides, if it gets a dub, you could always not watch the dub anyway, right? I myself, would never watch this dubbed even though I prefer to watch anime dubs. It's one of the many series that are best watched in Japanese.

Whether that's the case or not, I'm still living under the impression that dubs add on extra costs to the DVDs and make me wait longer for their release. And I have to set it up so that the audio track is on Japanese.

In terms of cost, that isn't true with Media Blasters. The Phoenix DVDs are dubbed and they have the same, cheap MSRP as the sub-only Simoun DVDs.

Lazy much? Seriously though, that only takes a few seconds.

This is quite unexpected
Dokuro-chan is the last series I ever thought would be licensed, because of its raunchyness, and its kind of nonsensical premise. It's happened though, and my day has been made.
I would probably only watch/listen to the Japanese track even if there was a dub for it, but hey, it'd kinda be fun if the title was translated. Club-to-Death Angel Dokuro-chan would sell like hotcakes. XDXD I will definately pick this up when it's released. ~<3

But it's such an ultra-violent, crude comedy series that should at least appeal a good number of anime fans so I really hope there's a English dub for this.

I can't really say I think this is a good thing. This is definitely more junkfood TV. Isn't licensing stuff like this whats causing some of the financial woes of the American anime industry to begin with? Who is buying this? lol Is that question one best not asked?

Wow i am literally in shock. This is seriously the last show i'd EVER expect to get licensed. I pray to god that it comes with extras.
On a side note i feel bad for all those people in hell who are buried in 12 feet of snow at the moment
